Bringing over 25 years of hospitality finance experience to the role, Craig is a qualified accountant with an extensive career that includes leadership roles with Whitbread, Marriott, IHG, Principal Hotels, and Klarent Hospitality.
A proven leader and strategic partner to business owners, Craig specialises in identifying opportunities to unlock value, strengthen financial controls, and support data-driven decision-making.
With Craig’s background in both finance and operations, he can add real value to Focus’ next chapter. “Having started my career in hospitality operations, I understand the importance of collaboration between owners, brands, and management teams. My focus is on building trust through financial systems and transparent reporting that support commercial success,” said Craig.
Craig joins the business at a pivotal time for the UK hospitality sector, as operators navigate challenges such as national living wage increases, utility costs, and upcoming rates valuations. His approach will be on tight expense control, workforce optimisation, and leveraging group economies of scale, while continuing to identify opportunities for asset-level value creation and innovative operational efficiencies.
