One of the UK’s leading independent hospitality management companies has appointed a highly-experienced new Commercial Director.

Sarah Monk has joined Focus Hotel Management, bringing with her a wealth of expertise gained during more than 25 years within the commercial sector of the hospitality industry.

Prior to joining Focus Hotels, Sarah spent nine years as a senior leader in the commercial team at RBH Hospitality Management, where she specialised in strategy planning, team leadership and development, performance management, demand generation and key account management.

She managed brand relationships with the likes of Marriott, Starwood, Hilton, Accor and Wyndham Worldwide and was part of the IHG Sales Team of the Year 2017.

She also has extensive experience in new openings, brand conversions and group takeovers.

In her earlier career Sarah held key sales and revenue positions with Folio Hotel Group, Corus and Regal Hotels, Queens Moat and Forte.
