Leading hotel management company Focus Hotels is proud to announce the appointment of Lara Beechey as its new Operations Director, bringing over 25 years of hospitality industry experience to the organisation. The appointment underscores the company’s commitment to maintaining close connections with teams across its portfolio of hotels through the reinforcement of internal resources, aligning with its recent and ongoing growth.
Starting her career with IHG, Lara’s journey saw her rise from a placement student to Cluster General Manager over her 16-year tenure. In her most recent role as Operations Director at Klarent (formerly Amaris), Lara managed 15 hotels, focusing on the commercial agenda, health and safety, and enhancing brand and customer experiences.
With a proven track record in managing large hotel portfolios and a passion for people development, Lara brings a blend of leadership and industry knowledge to the position. In her new role, Lara will work closely with fellow Operations Director, Stephen Cresswell, to drive operational excellence across the Focus portfolio.
